This young male hatched on June 23rd 2007, so he's right at 11 months old. He's already got the adult paint job, and he's still a little squirt. I never get tired of opening his cage to check him out.

These things NEVER stop coloring up...if you need proof look at Shannon's 15-plus year-old male in his post below. Shannon's snake is this youngster's uncle.

He's also the offspring of the two adults I posted the other day.

That is interesting how quickly this guy has begun to take on adult coloration...and once again as discussed before Mexican Bairds are such a N. American gem of a ratsnake ...I have a gravid female that should lay within the next few weeks.
