Does Male or Female matter???

jesterx626 May 25, 2008 07:45 PM

So I'm ever increasingly starting to gain more interest in owning a cali king and I have another question for you guys.

Is there any differences between male and female cali kings, such as size, temperament, colors, activity level, so on and so forth?

Also, is anyone kind enough to share with me their AIM sn or hotmail? It'd be much easier to talk on there so I dont have to wait for responses =D. But yea just puttin it out there to those who dont mind me asking questions via messengers. I promise I wont stalk you

I don't think there is any difference in a male or female cal king. They share the same temperament and I haven't noticed any real size difference.

If you are only planning to keep one snake it shouldn't make any difference. If you are planning to have more down the road you might be better served with a female. Males may decide to stop feeding during breeding season, and some first time keepers tend to get worried.

They are great snakes, and although I don't keep any now, they were my first snakes and I am definitely a fan of them.
