Expecting Rainbow and an o/t pic

miloradovich May 25, 2008 09:34 PM

Here is the last gravid female that I have right now and she is huge and swollen. I'm thinking that I am going to find babies in the cage very soon. Very exciting. Anybody care to guess when they'll get here? Let me know what you guys think. I am really anticipating this litter as the sire is a first time breeder who is a really bright orange and I'm hoping for some nice colored babies.

And an off topic pic... but I though I share a recent headshot of my 03 possible super hypo sonoran that I thought came out well. I didn't breed her this year but there is always next year.
Now for the tough decision of what to pair her with. I'd like to see some hypo sonorans het leopard but my 06 male hypo is turning into a real looker and I think the two could make some exceptional supers with some great color.

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone is enjoying the hoiday weekend.
Milo

Wed at 8:00... sounds good to me. I've been thinking that this week might be the one so that's right about in the middle.

How about 4am on the day she's ready to deliver them!

Your boa is a real looker and I love the shot. Very nice!

Thanks but, 4 am is a litte early for me. I would really prefer if she waits untill the late afternoon early evening so as not to mess up my schedule. Think she'll hold out if I ask nicely? Of course they don't usually seem as considerate as I would like. Kinda like how a lot of the big ones seem to wait for me to clean the cage just before going to the bathroom.

Thanks Dave. I was guessing at the tail end of this month because the 30th I belive would be 115 days POS. (Don't have her notes in front of me here) My other female (the one that had a POS) in the same room and ambient temps went exactly 115 but this one has a slightly cooler hot spot so I guess she could definately go a little longer. Who knows....

OOUUUUU, my date sounds pretty close then!!!

I drew on my vast experience of breeding and used a complicated formula based on amount of scale seperation for different areas of the body. Factor in lunar phases and local barometric preasure and poof ........

out popped the dart that I threw at the calendar to get a specific date!!!

I think the lunar phases will be the clentcher. makes me want to howl at the moon anyway.
