aquisition. This is a young male that is not from any proven line of anything. He looks a little like a Vanilla but if so is much brighter than most I've seen. Just wanted to get your thoughts......TC

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that is a boa constrictor constrictor or the boa constrictor imperator.

That's the craziest looking Boa I have ever seen! That really is like a Leopard or Jaguar Boa isn't it? Weird head too!

I think it might be het for Brazilian leucistic?

Did that import originate from Brazil?

After that litter of boas you produced you can say anything you want. They are nothing short of AMAZING!!!!TC

boaphile May 26, 2008 07:24 PM

You mean that wasn't a Boa? LOL I guess I don't know anything but Boas.

Still I'd love to make a Boa with big spots on it and a pattern like that. I'd rather it not be green though. Red would be nice.

I tell you Jeff, that gorgeous one you had that died was one of the nicest boas I've seen. Did you manage to breed that ever with anything? The Orange/red on that one was unbelievable....TC

boaphile May 27, 2008 12:35 PM

Sure I bred her. This is the female you are referring to I think:

She had a great litter three years ago. Here is one of her babies working over a great Pastel that is due to have her Red Monster Tail Hypo babies June 8th.

Your buddy Mr. Manny, he makes me call him "Mr.", has the only baby I sold from that litter that Red Monster Tail Hypo female produced three years ago. Here is the girl Manny twisted my arm for:
