aquisition..This is not a proven snake form any line of anything. He resembles a Vanilla but is much nicer than most I've seen. Just wanted your thoughts....TC

Hey Tom,

Nice looking snake. Sure looks like the real deal.
Does he have light colored eyes or dark eyes?
Hard to say for sure from the photos.

I have noticed that Vanillas usually have lighter colored eyes.

...While the similar looking Fires have dark colored eyes...sort of like the dark colored eyes you would see on a Ghost.

Either way, I like that snake!

I have only seen a couple Vanillas in person, so I am no expert. The head pattern sure looks more like that of a Fire.

Most of the bellies on Fires that I have seen are clear with distinct racing stripes on either side running nearly the entire length of the snake. Is this the norm -- with the exception being the belly like TC's Fire? Insights?

Only one of mine has the stripes like you describe, the rest look very similar to the picture Tom posted.
