my male has this white solid secreation ( looks a white head) that has been hanging out from his pores. i thought it was normal, and the vet never said anything. then i realized that they arent apart of his body... what is this stuff. kinda weird.

uhh no!! unless i get some more polaroid film. ask my mom if shes got some lying around... by the way really fast response... but the only comparison i can make would be to a pimple. ( kinda gross dont wanna get spacific) they are kinda falling off him. when i first got him it was every pore. i thought it was a testiment to his manliness. ill see if i can take a picture, but their falling off so idk...maybe if i see them again then ill bring it up again.

This is usually a whitish keratin plug in (all the pores), especially around breeding time for the males.
You may see them rubbing their thighs, or dragging them, (we have all seen this with our males) along the ground or rubbing their thighs along rocks to scent mark their territory so to speak, with that waxy white keratin substance.

i guess thats it?? my stevie (1) never had this so it was new to me.Atleast i didnt have him long enough to find out. i thought thats how mature male's pores looked?? whatever as long as its not harmful. i thought i t could have been mites in the pores or something. wasnt too concerned cuz the vet didnt say anything.
