creases in skin

gosaints May 26, 2008 11:57 AM

i just recently baught an albino from crested gecko. when he came in i was dissapointed to see he still had some small pieces of skin stuck to him.so i soaked him in some water and removed the skin. upon closer inspection i noticed vertical creases in his scales also some of the scales are folded so they stick up off the body. am i right to assume this is from low hummidity? will this go away when he sheds again or is their something i can do to make it better now. my temps are 91hot spot, 82air, humidity ranges from 60-70%.

I agree with Dave, I bought 3 snakes from Garrick last year and being new to balls I called to pick his brain, he was great and helped me a lot. Just give him a call. CM

I am good friend's with Garrick and live just a few miles away.
Some ball python's just have shedding problem's so all's I do is put their water dish over the heat supply and with in a couple of day's they are good to go. In the post's below are the Pastel babies I hatched by breeding a male I bought from Garrick 2 year's ago.He is alway's #1 with question's and concern's so shoot him an e-mail and I gaurantee he will help you anyway possible.
