What Camera?

Bogey22 May 26, 2008 06:43 PM

Just curious what cameras/lenses you all use for herp photography. We have a digital Kodak (7megapixel) but the shutter delay is so long that the snake is expediting his escape before you can take another pic. Another issue is that it likes to change the color of images making oranges pinks and stuff like that. The lens is just the same one that it came with when bought so its not really wide angle.

I know a good camera can cost some good money but what do you all recommend?

This was taken by a little Sony pocket camera 7m

I have used Kodak for years, and recently, actually last year, bought a Kodak 7.1 AF 3X on sale for $129.00. Made me sick, as I remember how expensive digital cameras WERE at one time...ha ha!!!
Some pics from it:
