Hello, I have a new ball python and his one eye recently has a mirror-like covering on it. It makes it hard to see the eye. This is not the same color as the milky white color from shedding, any idea on what this might be and what I can do about it?

I tried to take pictures but I cant really get it to show what I am talking about. If it is a retained eye cap, I feel like I probably would have noticed it before.
