Indiana Jones and an Olive python

jaykis May 26, 2008 11:13 PM

In the new Indiana Jones movie, Jones has to be pulled out of quicksand by using a snake as a rope. It was an Olive python in RL, but that was a heck of a snake to come all the way from Australia to the Amazon, lol

Not really too bad a trip, considering the # of Boa Constrictors, Burmese Pythons, and Retics vacationing in Egypt during "Raiders of the Lost Ark"...and transportation was much more difficult back then! LOL!

Yeah, I noticed that Olive right away in that movie. I have to say that I was a bit upset that they called it a "Ratsnake".

It looked way more like apodora than an olive python. My eyes might have been playing tricks on me, but I exclaimed to my companion in the theatre -- wtf is a papuan doing in the Amazon?

No white under apadoras. Attitude problems in handling, also.
