what is the best species of roaches to breed? and how?

Lobster Roaches breed the fastest, but they climb. Dubia are a good roach and in my opinion the best because while they may not breed as fast, they are larger which means if you have large reptiles to feed, you can feed fewer. Also, the lobster roaches give off a bad odor (in my opinion), and you can't tell the sex between them. The only big thing with getting the dubia is that they are about $40.00 per HUNDRED, and the lobster are about $30 per THOUSAND. Hope you figure out what you like the best and go with it.

I bought 30 blabtica dubia for something like $8. Now I got a few hundred.

Trick is to add heat. A good heating pad will do. It took me a few months to get a good colony going, but they're worth it.
