i got a 4 week old dragon yesterday at a show. He sleeped all the way home a 3 hour trip and when we got home he ate some crickets. but he has been sleeping all day today he got up a few times is this normal.

is he laying basking or sleeping on the cool end of the enclosure? double check your temps and be sure he is well hydrated, offer him water via dropper or even some gatorade. also when you can get a fecal to the vet and have him checked out, its never too late with these little guys.

he sleeps under the heat light but if he gets to hot he walks to the cool side and goes back to sleep. i got him yesterday from a reptile show all the moveing around could be it to right????

still sounds a bit odd, he should be bright eyed and alert, keep him well hydrated and get a fecal to the vet, double check your temps also, be sure they are correct 105-115 basking surface temp and 80-85 cool side ambient temp

basically get a fresh sample of your dragons feces and take it to your vet where it will be examined for the presence of parasites.
