You should check out Howie Sherman's( Strikersherps.com )line of locality Okeetees, which have been the best locality specimens I have seen in person.

I agree with Billy. Check out Howie's Okeetees. A bonus with them is they are true locality animals. Here's a couple of pics of my okeetee from Howie. A 2004 male at around five feet. Some of his other okeetees have thicker black borders then mine has.

John Meltzer (rjreptiles) has locality Okees with great colors/borders. He doesn't have a site or post photos, but if you catch him at a show, buy some of his snakes!

I second that!!!!
Meltzer also has incredible locality animals, and also does have locality Okeetees!!! I am blessed to have him as my friend, and enjoy seeing his animals in Daytona each year. Mike, that animal pictured you have is one of his I assume. Great locality animal!!

I have to throw in a plug for John Meltzer too. He has awesome animals and he is extremely knowledgeable in the field. I have known him for almost 19 years now and he is a great friend. If you buy from him, you buy quality! He has many lines of locality snakes of various species. Some of his Pituophis and hognose are the best around. Looking forward to seeing him at Daytona and making several purchases.

Take care,
Jeff Port

Is it RJ reptiles or RJexotics? I bought my okeetee from RJ exotics and was never told of he was a locale. These are probably two different people. This is my okeetee from RJ exotics.

Yes, John Meltzer is RJ Reptiles, NOT RJexotics.

I thought I'd include a strain of CB locality Okeetees that was once available from a fellow named Tom Chiang. Vin Russo of Cutting Edge Herps also sold these for a while. The stock originated from animals caught on a road on the Okeetee grounds I'm familiar with. Even the garter snakes from that road are red. The corns are some of the most brilliantly colored snakes I've ever seen.

See South Mountain Reptiles and Bayou Reptiles. They produce the best "Abbott's" Okeetees out there IMO. They got their stock from Abbott, and they now actually produce better ones than I've seen come from Abbott. It happens......lol.
