with turtles, romain lettuce has all the minerals in it.
does it work that way?
out of all the lettuce is romaine the best?

Romain has little nutrition at all, no matter what is eating it. I would not say it is good as the only green for turtles, unless it is being given in addition to turtle pellets and other greens etc as appropriate, though it depends on the turtle species.
Romain is ok, as long as it is NOT the only green provided..it should be mixed in with two or more more nutritious greens, such as collards, mustard greens and others. The chart on the site BDLvr posted, is a great reference.
