My father found this snake. He sent this pic asking me what it was. He lives in Destin, which is in the FL panhandle. Its in a bucket, and you can see his size 10 shoe for reference.

looks more like a lizard than a snake. I'm not real familiar with Florida reptiles, but if its a native species I would guess some type of glass lizard.
That looks like a legless lizard to me as well. There are a couple of legless or "Glass" lizards around there, so I couldn't tell which one.

Yes,...as the other's mentioned, it's a legless lizard known as the Eastern Glass Lizard, also commonly called a "Glass Snake"(Ophisaurus ventralis).
