What do you all think about this one? Male YB to a funky WC 2006 imported female.

Thanks Tom

I do have pics of the parents, butnot going to show who the female is

ballmorphsbymike May 27, 2008 07:53 PM

well....thats your decision.....but why??

njtom732 May 27, 2008 07:55 PM

Why would I want others to try and produce the same animal if I have something worth looking into?

Tom

emberball May 27, 2008 09:03 PM

Back in the day, when a Ball might bring in $10K or more, I can kind of understand not showing the producing parents. In today's market, what does it really matter?

snakeman333 May 28, 2008 11:19 AM

I actually think this is more of a reason not to show the parents and protect his investment.

Let say this animal is something that is as common as a YB. This would mean everyone and their mother will be searching for this snake like they did the YB when they came out. Huge manhunt in the import bins. Everyone was checking the bottom of their snakes for this marker.

A smart business person would not show the parent and get people salivating over the animal. Wait to produce an army of its kind so you can sell as many at the highest price when it first comes out to the public. Combine it with anything and everything you have. We all know what the YB's were selling for 3 years ago. Now you can find them for $100. It happens fast so get out of it what you can.

If for some reason, next season doesn't pan out the way you wanted it to with this snake and you gave away your ingredients. You will have lost out on your advantage on the rest of the field of breeders.

If you don't fall into the traps these posters have set you could make thousands of dollars off of this find. If done right tens of thousands. That will buy you a nice collection of sweet BP's.

Thanks for actually showing the animal to us. Its beautiful! Congrats.

Good Luck!

Oh, and just my 2Cents!

njtom732 May 27, 2008 09:38 PM

Tom

NoahHart May 27, 2008 09:40 PM

Are you willing to post updated pics of the 2 you still have?

BackBeat May 27, 2008 09:49 PM

...YB crossed with one of those Yellow Stripes or Gold Stripes pictured on your webpage?

The new combo looks like a perfect blend between YellowBelly and Yellow/Gold Stripe animals.

Congrats on that new combo.

Does that snake on your site you call a paradox albino have red eyes?

gant77 May 28, 2008 01:20 AM

It says on the site it was a possible YB female. Neat snake though! Can't wait to see post shed pics!

that it looked like what I'd expect a hatchling YB x Cinny to look like.. I had not been on his site, and a YB x YB would normally be an ivory, which this particular animals definitely is not

Thanks for the reply,
Bristen.
