Females eating the eggs

ShaunVought May 27, 2008 08:08 PM

I have two western hognose females that when they lay their eggs they immediately eat them. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to prevent this in the future. It has happened three years in a row now with the same females. Both are red phase.
Thanks for any help or insight.

I have a female that eats only any infertile eggs. She too is a red phase! Go figure....

My PHAlbino female just did the same thing, yesterday. From what I saw earlier, they were duds. Bummer.
