Summit Pastel Salmon Jungles!!

JasonGonzalez May 28, 2008 06:00 AM

On day 106 POS my Summit Pastel Salmon Female that was bred to my Pete Kahl Jungle male gave birth to a healthy litter of 15 boas! No slugs, stills, or deformities.

After I get some sleep (haven't slept all night cause of the excitement), I'll be sure and post more pics. But for now this will have to do.

All of the Pastel Salmon Jungles have these eyes.

And this one came with his own helmet.

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think!

Thanks Ty. There were 5 DEFINITE Salmon Jungles, 1 Poss. Salmon Jungle ( I'll know more after he/she sheds), and 2 DEFINITE Jungles.

I am very happy with those odds.

perhaps he could be the Einstein boa..huge brain, making him capable of some type of cummunication...wouldnt that be cool..or it needs popped with a pointy hot object and then he will be normal. LOL
Nice looking babies!!

I can not tell you how extremely happy I am right now. To put in so much time, money, and effort and finally have it pay off is so very gratifying. Not to mention validating.

Your comments mean a tremendous amount to this small time boa BREEDER (this being my first litter ever, I can now call myself a breeder ) and I really appreciate everyone of them.

THANK YOU!

Hey Jason, what year is your female Summit? From the '04 or '05 litter?

I have males from both and the '05 blows the '04 away.

Dave,

The female was from the 2005 litter. I picked her up from Big Mike at Basically Boas (who by the way called to congratulate me and give me some GREAT advice. How many Big Name breeders do that for their customers? He went up a notch in my book).

I was hesitant to breed her given her age, but the size was there and she apparently knew better than I did that she was ready. She went full term and none of the babies had any yolk. She did great and had a nice juicy Medium rat last night from her very proud owner.

IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER THAN A GOOEY MESS OF BOAS?!?!?!

No, I don't think so.

Congrats Jason! That is one heck of a first litter! Perfect pair for the perfect litter! I have a summit female (not as nice as yours by a long shot) and a jungle that i will pair hopefully next year. I hope to have half as nice of a litter as you! Congrats again! What's up with the helmeted baby?
