First trip of the year to Monster Island

Jeff Schofield May 28, 2008 12:21 PM

Well, its been horrible weather in the northeast even by milksnake standards. Went out a few days ago on a very windy day(20+knots) in just so-so conditions and found a few babies. Will post pics soon, but its always nice to see the population surviving despite ever increasing development. Here is a pic of the "green one" from a few years ago from the same spot.

Guys, with the bad weather unfortunately they were in blister/bad shed so I will clean em up a little first. I dont take a camera with me in the field because its fragile, I am the proverbial Bull in the china shop! With those Elaps...all you gotta do is go get them some andro at the health store and drop it in the water, lol.

Jeff, would you be willing to send me a copy of that pic for my milk book? I promise to not reveal the real name of "monster Island." I think we had that discussion a couple years ago, anyway. E-mail is tricolorbrian@hotmail.com. Pics need to be at least 1 MB. Thanks.
