Getula x Gentilis

terryd May 28, 2008 07:19 PM

Found this intergrade hybrid freak.

Only kidding---This is a nice crossed over gentilis, with spots.

Here is a better shot w/ the spots.

Here is a male for the above female. Love how yellow he is.

A different female to make sure he stays busy. The more crossovers I see the more I like them. Now I wouldn't want a black and white gentilis, gotta have some red on them. But I really like the black bands. And really like the red flames on the sides of these milks.

I've been meaning to get them posted to show off, but I've been very busy the last month.

And for Snake Bit, a belly shot of the male. -Dell

That was a adult that I had a few years ago and was from Weld County Colorado (gentilis x multistriata). I think Jeff ended up with that one but I can't remember for sure.

I heard your old stuff went to Europe and died but I never had Welds.

I'm really liking the crossovers... it does allow that red to just jump out @ you... Really great finds... now after pimping the high-black animals I must say the yellow male is outstanding. Hopefully though his 'back-up' gets a shot some day as well... I'd be very interested in seeing both clutches!

Good times,
Chris

Dell,

Nice critters, man. I'm planning on a little photo shoot tonight to add a few new pics to some I've been saving up for a while (field and captive). I'll try to get them up tomorrow.

Digging the crossovers, bro.
