...Well, the 3 fertile eggs produced 2.1 hets. Was hoping for at least 1 ghost but what are you gunna do. The het mother was proven out supposedly in '01. So the question is less whether she's really het than if she's genetically compatable with my Ghost male. The female is fattening nicely for this coming breeding season and I can try a different male on her. But I have to make a gratitude list and appreciate the hets at least; I could have done worse. But I gots to tell ya, the 2 people I got the het female from ain't getting any more bizz until I prove this girl out!! Scott J. Michaels DVM

I wish you luck on proving them out. I purchased a 100% het Albino about 3 years ago. So far, she has been through 2 breeding seasons and will not become gravid. Additionally, she is the most extreme problem feeder I have seen. The guy I got her from is out of business (by choice?) but it's still disappointing so I know how you feel. Hopefully this year she will "take".
