Force Feeding a/d

dnreptiles May 29, 2008 02:07 PM

I read some where that if you need to force feed, a/d was an acceptable food to use. Is there any truth to this? Also can some one help with with the doasge if I decide to use B12? How many cc's per 1000grams?

Thanks.

Not sure about the B12, I'd have to dig up my books.. I'd use Carnivore Critical Care before a/d though.. It's formulated more for reptiles and exotics & it's pretty cheap.

Try Zoo Med Repta -Aid it works grate , I have used it for years, it will also help rebuild the flora content in there stomach for good digestion . I have raised hatchlings on it that wouldn’t eat and if forced fed pinkies they would not been able to digest them and would have rotted in there stomachs , also sick reptiles that could not eat there normal diet , it is easy to digest and has every thing that they need to sustain life .
