Old conversation/Bone deformity

nyoka7 May 29, 2008 02:20 PM

Hello everyone who responded.. sorry it took me so long to get some pictures up. I don't own the actual x-ray photos, sorry.
But, heres the best ones I took myself.
She appears to be in shed, but breathing seems to be getting worse. Seems like she has a hard time...I hear hissing type noises coming from her a lot, along with opening her mouth.
Thanks for looking and helping
Katie

Hi!
It's hard to tell for sure what's going on from just looking at the photos. You said you know they're not tumors because you've had it x-rayed and the x-rays showed the bones growing in curves. If there's not any mucous coming from its mouth and/or nose and you're pretty sure it's not a respiratory infection causing the breathing problems about the only thing I can think of is the possibility of some of the bones restricting the lung.

Odds are that at the moment its breathing bothers you more than it, but how much more would be too much for it? I get the impression that you'll know when it's time to end actual suffering.

My heart goes out to you & the snake.

Hang in there!
HH
