Shipping companies may require you to jump through a few hoops to become a "certified shipper". Ask the company you'll be dealing with about their specific requirements.

Last time I went to ship through Fed-Ex they wouldnt let me ship at all when they found out what it was. Actualy put remarks on my account that I tried to ship live animals. In their actual "rule" book it does say it is illegal for them to ship live animals unless they are going to a zoo or a college or school for research. Doesnt make sense. And I actually made them get the book out and show me. Its in the fine print. Just a little input.

And ask about becoming a "Certified Shipper".
