People around here kill any/all snake (South Florida) Infact considereing so many consider them venemous its puzzling how instead of leaving it alone they chase it with a bat, shovel, etc

We had a neighbor kill over 100 baby snakes when he went camping . Showed us the pics on his cell phone. They were some type garter or water snake I couldnt tell

I hope that was due to a car or a raccoon and not teenaged stupidity!

He was found in the road.I don't think the thing on his head is a string but,I still know where he's at so I'll take a closer look.It burns my ass to see this, these things are getting rarer in my area.

Is that a string tied around his jaw (mouth)?

Oh jeez.. i didn't notice the string at first glance, but I just blew up the pic and that's what it looks like to me.. Honestly, what is wrong with people?

You can plainly see that snake has the markings of a "Cottonmouth Rattlesnake"!....(sarcasm)

Takes all kinds of "@$$-whipes" to make a world,...doesn't it?

Looks to me like it has some copperhead in the genetics as well, and when copperhead and cottonmouth breed, it's very dangerous !!
