Glad you found it and a nice one it is.
I've always really liked all the beauty sub species but what got me hooked first was a old picture of a baby taiwan. The bold markings with the drastic change as they turned to striping towards the tail hooked my for sure.

Many years ago, I found one of my decent sized Honduran's that escaped for a couple months in a huge front pocket of some baggy shorts that I had in a laundry basket on my bedroom floor. Man!,....it scared the $#@% out of me when I grabbed them to put them on one morning!..LOL!

I was going to get a Columbian Boa Constrictor but my mom said no. I voulenteer at Luray Rescue Zoo. Mrs. Jennifer the owners wife told me Taiwans were great. I lloked in to them and was hooked I think there are the coolest snakes.

Mark & Jennifer have one heck of a collection of snakes at that Zoo. Always love to go when I'm up near Luray. I'm like a kid in a candy store everytime I visit.
