Scarlet update

54podge May 30, 2008 10:19 PM

Thanks to some great advice on this forum, I am happy to report my scarlet took it's first live pink last night! I put her in a smaller tank, moved her into my empty home office away from the kids and much warmer (about 83 degrees), added some tighter hides and upped the humidity.

Someday soon, I may bother her enough to grab some pics.

Thanks!

That is GREAT NEWS!,......Way to go man!, you just saved yourself a huge battle right off the bat by getting it to voluntarily feed on it's own!, not to mention increased the snake's odds of thriving by leaps and bounds.

Oh yeah!,....you bet we want to see some more pics of that killer looking animal, but give it a while like you said, so it can digest it's meal in peace, and get a chance to feel hidden for a while............AWESOME!

Nice, congratulations.

It's amazing how fast these little guys seem to go from 'problem feeders' to 'little piggies'.

All the best!
