Surprise lineaticollis clutch...

gapnda7 May 30, 2008 11:30 PM

So I din't really cool my pair but it did get cooler in my garage. I left my pair together all year round. She didn't look gravid at all but she is (or was) fairly girthy. She laid 6 eggs which may or may not make it since they sat there for a couple of days. There were 2 slugs as well.

I've read the other post and I guess I can expect a long incubation but what temps are those who have successfully bred them incubating at? Ginter? Jason? Help?

thanks guys,
Glenn

I love surprises! Congradulation!

I have typically incubated my lineaticollis at 78-82 F. Best of luck and keep us posted on how they do. I am into the first 30 days of incubating 58 lineaticollis eggs. All three of my females layed, 15, 24, and 23, with a few from each being infertile.

Cheers, ginter

Excellent results John and some bumber clutches you've had by the sounds!

Look forward to hearing your results in the next month or so.

It will be interesting seeing how many people produce lineaticollis this year. I have 17 eggs incubating now. Can't wait to see them hatch!
