Getting a retic!

gothicbambi May 31, 2008 01:18 AM

I'll be getting my new baby retic within the next week, cant wait to bring her home! Shes just a normal, but so pretty! I realy wanted to get a tiger, but could afford one right now.
I'm putting her in a 30gal long tank, do you think she'll be okay in that for the next 6 months? Just wondering, cuz I'm in the middle of moving, and I'm going to build her a cage at my new house, but it could take up to six months.
Thanks and let me know!

I love those pumpkin eyes!!

You should be ok in the 30 gal for a few months--- by the time you move-- she'll defianatly need something bigger.

you might also want to cover the mesh top of the cage with plexiglass or something to keep some humidity in-- help her shed better.

congrats.

I would not cover the hole top with something. She does need air. If this is your first retic you will come to see that retics do not fully shed at one time. No matter how much I mist mine I always have to help them shed out.
