I spent the day with my family at the St. Louis Zoo yesterday. They have some great exhibits. I thought picture turned out ok, do you know what it is?

Black Mamba is correct. A beautiful 6 ft plus animal, and it was in perfect position for this pic. Jeff they do have a huge King Cobra on display also but he was hiding. Funny story my two year old drop his sandal in the soft shelled turtle pond, we had to get climb in and get it......thank goodness it wasn't the pond on the other side which were caiman!

it was awsome. A great free zoo with a killer reptile house.

Eristocophis macmahoni? I had those years ago. They're very interesting and unusual Viperids. I haven't seen one in years......TC

I used to live less than five minutes from that awesome zoo. One of the best free zoos in the world.
