I actually like the dark phase of this Panamanian female better than the light phase. I am CRAZY about the gun metal gray laterals and the olive tone dorsally ain't bad either!

Next pic is my holdback male from the Rose litter. He was in one of his lighter phases when this pic was taken. He's going to be getting a nice dead rat in a few hours. Been about 20 days since I've offered him food :/

Last pic is my holdback female from the Rose litter. She just shed and cleansed her bowels!! So the cage was a bit wet (although she was in the dry part) consequently, she was a bit darker than normal AND less colorful. I've found that normally a dark phase is accompanied by more color, but sometimes it's not when the cage is damp. Weird.
