Just my opinion but I think they are normal variations of the same thing. I hatch both from the same clutch.

Wow, looks like the Italian flag, or Mexico -- take yer pic. VERY cool though. IF you get tired of 'em you can always send 'em to me Gerrit. No worries my German brother.

Thx, I recognized before that the name Kruse is very typical for my country...do you know more about your German roots?

Ahhhh wie gehts? Anyhow interesting shots... are they pure Calvert, MD animals? Better yet are they related? Very curious actually -- I've noticed varying degrees of 'expression' w/ the hypo coastals but I have limited experience w/ 'pure' hypo Calverts. Got me curious....

Danke, gut .

They are pure Calvert Co, MD animals, yes. And they are related, yes, and they are related to all your stuff, cause they have been produced by Tony D.

I have two theories, one is that there is a variation of hyponess expressed from one gene, like Tony said. The other is that there could be a hypo pusher gene, that does just express if a snake already is a hypo.

Time will show.

Well I'll bow to Tony on this one... on sheer production alone. Though it's an interesting thought. I'd lean more so toward an epigenetic alignment as opposed to an entire new gene interaction but perhaps you're right time will tell. Currently I'm raising up some out-crossed Calvert's of a few lineages. I'm curious to see the variance with them actually. As for the lighter or 'extreme'ish animals you're right we'll see in time. Thanks for the pics -- great animals!
