Sulfur Lav outdoor pics

EddieF Jun 01, 2008 12:10 PM

I'm still trying, these pics aren't great but it was great to see Dexter outdoors in sunlight. He just shed yesterday and is beautiful! Also, I kept him on fuzzies for a long time (because you buy them 50 at a time) before I switched to larger mice. But I have definitely seen a growth spurt in him since he moved up!!

feeding small items isn't always such a bad idea, if it doesn't bankrupt you. when I was bringing up lots of brooks, most of my 18 month old breeders were eating mouse hoppers. It was 6-7 hoppers at a time but I could get them so cheap back then through the local herp group. Once they graduated from that routine it was right onto sm rats. Rainer just posted a little while ago that he's feeding his adults chicks and quail for cost effectiveness. not a bad idea.

nice sulfur lav. I am glad to see this morph (sulfur) get some more play as so many have been talking about them for a while but there hasn't been a lot of availability.

He eats two hoppers once a week.

Thanks very much, that is one of Rainer's, we really enjoy him a lot. He's friendly and easy to handle (though he is the only one of mine to have latched on to my finger!).

Thanks Maggie! I will try to get some better outdoor pics later this week once he digests his Sunday dinner.
