The 2008 prospects.... long and DUW

rainbowsrus Jun 01, 2008 11:02 PM

Eve, bred with Dumbo (Hypo), She is the WC mother of Genevieve, My side striped yearling. Looking decent, not huge though.

Minnie, also bred with Dumbo is a het hypo from EBN. She also is not huge but has some lumpiness in the right area.

Wilma, bred with Fred, part of my "bedrock trio is the same pairing that produced Bam Bam, my number one holdback from 2007. She looks huge and going into a second shed so she will end up with two sets of due dates.

Betty, also bred with Fred, the same pairing that produced Melanie in 2007. She was chillin in the water bowl but is looking nice and plump!!!

Savannah, bred with Fluffy, the Calico male, very excited to get this project off and running. Savannah was in her hide box under the moss and laying all belly up and odd positions. One of my favorite sights when looking at gravid females.

Daisey, also bred with Fluffy, she came from the bedrock group. Looking lumpy and she's been hanging out on the rim of her water bowl right under the radient heat panel.

Rose, bred with Mickey (Hypo). Looking good and another one with a second shed and another set of due dates.

Crystal, also bred with Mickey. Not sure on this one, does not look gravid to me, will have tpo wait and see.

Clover, bred with Diablo so is one of my 2001 holdbacks bred to a 2005 holdback. Clover is HUGE!!! Will not be surprised to have a very large litter from this one.

Lucy, also bred with Diablo. Both are 2005 holdbacks. Lucy also was in that odd belly up thermoregulating position.

Tink, bred by Phoenix. Another pair of 2005 holdbacks, Both with serious color, Tink is looking good to have a decent litter.

Ann, also bred by Phoenix. She's the mom to the het hypos produced by Mike and I in 2007, with her color bred to Phoenix, mmmmmm should be some hot looking babies!!

Molly, bred with Hook. More 2005 holdbacks, both with great color should be another pile o great looking slimers.

Wendy, also bred with Hook. More 2005 holdbacks, both with great color and seriously bold crescents., will be cool to see how these babies come out, never bred two with that bold of crescents together. Wendy just had another shed so two sets of due dates for her as well.

Cate, bred with Ol Yeller (a breeding loan male). Ol yeller is a very yellow male, Cate is a ligh brown female from Jeff Clark. She's a bit lumpy but not sure about her. She also had a second shed and two sets of possible due dates.

Nikki, also bred with Ol Yeller. Another one of those a bit lumpy but not sure ones.

Bullseye, yet another bred with Ol Yeller. Long story but Ol Yeller was not showing any interest in his two females Cate and Nikki (no courting observed) and was probed as a female so put "her"with another pair. Ol Yeller immedietely started courting the female. So, may be up to three litters from him.

Petunia, bred with Lefty. Really not sure about her, she is not looking gravid, will have to wait and see.

Oh boy! Is it September yet?!?

Why dont you just send me the routing number to your bank and I'll have my checks re-routed. Sigh. I still have my account at B of A in Cupertino, maybe I'll just start doing transfers. Oh wait, I need some money to build an addition to the house for the zoo.

Jasper has picked his favorites. Fingers crossed!

Beautiful lineup....

Julie

Surrounded by a bunch of BRB, some Ridleyi, a few Grey Banded Kings, Australian Cattle Dogs, a Belgian Malinois, assorted Mustelids and an incredibly tolerant male human.

Hey Julie, it definitely would save on the paypal fees - having your checks direct deposited into my account!

One more BIG event first, I have a gravid Ghost (possible super) BCI bred by my Motley male(s) my new fetal heart monitor picked up many little heart beats and mom looks like a over stuffed sausage. Due in a couple of weeks!!!!

IMO Jasper is too young to be checking out the chicks, they still have cooties as far as he's concerned!!!! Seriously, I've never had ANY luck getting male BRB's under 2 1/2 years old to breed.
