another pretty male

mj3151 Jun 02, 2008 12:52 AM

This guy's more yellow compared to the other guy's orange, and his shell isn't quite so perfect, but he's pretty none the less, and has great eyes. He was a lot bigger than the other guy, from the same general area. Enjoy.

Beauty! Was that an injury to his back, or abnormal growth?

It didn't appear to be the result of an injury. There were no obvious healed cracks or other evidence of trauma. I think he just has an odd, relatively flat looking shell. It doesn't slow him down at all.

I hope you realize how fortunate you are my friend, those are some super beauties!!!
You have admirable amazing will power to release them, but I guess if you find them all the time, relatively they are just a dime a dozen
Very nice, keep those pics coming.

I do appreciate it, but I wish they were a dime a dozen. The exceptionally colorful ones aren't as easy to find as the more average looking ones. I've just had a bit of a lucky streak.
