Her second clutch of the year was adhered together because I didn't get them early on and the "glue" hardened.
This first clutch I got very early as I was home when she first finished laying and they where not stuck together yet in a pile.
The other clutch is in 3 little piles with a few ones not stuck together. If you give female time she will pile them and or lay in a complete pile on her own and then after that they can not be separated (well not smart to try and do so because you tear of calcium of the shell in the process and leave egg more vulnerable to desiccation).
All eggs that where in a pile in my experience always hatch out as well, so do not mess with them. It is completely natural for them to adhere in a pile and will not interfere with your hatch rate. All the rest just pipped. Took three days for all to pip.
>>Just awesome Frank. This whole egg thing is really pretty cool. Did you separate your eggs before putting them into the incubation container? From what I saw just now my Brooks is laying her clutch in a pile. Pretty much a newbie when it comes to eggs.
