Breeding from the experts...

brien224 Jun 02, 2008 04:47 PM

So, I am thinking about breeding amazons, and I have a very nice colored male picked out to breed to a very nice reduced pattern female. I have been reading about them for months now and think I am ready... So questions...

1) What size can I expect hatchlings? and what size enclosure to keep them in?

2) Should I keep them same temps as adults or a little higher/lower? I have these tubs that I found being thrown out, they are the kind used to dispense candy they open from the top and front and are plastic. I will drill holes, but I am wondering if they are okay in size (13Lx9Tx8.5W)? I use them for hatchling cresteds perfectly...

3) Any other advice would be great...
