Will it grow back.......

Bighurt Jun 02, 2008 05:41 PM

her tooth that is?

Thelma has been a bit snappy since she moved to her new cage (out of rack) anyways she is always striking the glass (now outfitted with a privacy curtain.

Anyways seams she bit her upper and lower lip with her upper fangs. Use of a specula and some tweezers were sufficiant to un-hook one fang but the other penetrated both and she removed it herself, I removed the tooth from her lip but will a knew one ever grow back.

Just curious I can't remember ever reading that anywhere.

I think I did a better job than my dentist....minimal blood no pain killer's and a now happy, still snappy Boa!

Cheers

Boas lose teeth many times. I've found them in water dishes, or in the substrate when its cleaning time.

I find them lodged in human flesh quite frequently(from the more spirited members)
They seem to have no problems "reloading"
