Cal King Babies!

waspinator421 Jun 02, 2008 06:36 PM

Here are some pictures of my California Kingsnake clutch that hatched this weekend. There are 10 healthy little babies who think they are tuff as nails!! The sex ratio turned out to be exactly half... 5 males and 5 females. Quite the variety of patterns in this clutch as well!

Now I just gotta wait for these little buggers to shed!

There are two banded ones, and I was really suprised to see them. Neither parent is banded. The sire is a Reverse Stripe and the dam is a Wide Stripe.

Beautiful snakes!!!
That is one thing about breeding cal kings that throw aberrant patterns, is that you will never know exactly what you will get when they hatch! So much fun to watch hatch!!
Thanks for posting!! Congrats!

I got instructions once, but don't have an account at the Web site referenced.

Also, how did you post so many at once?

Can you, or Webmaster, advise on posting instructions?
