Temporary Outdoor Enclosure.......

lcfish10 Jun 02, 2008 08:03 PM

hey all.....how y'all been? been unavailable for several weeks and now it's heatin' up good here in st. louis..........

i want to take my clan out for some real sunlight on the wekends and was needing some ideas on what works the best and at a decent price. i have many collards and all tolerate each other so putting several in a cage shouldn't be a problem.

is a screened in type cage the best make? i wouldn't think anything glass or plastic would be a good idea. let me know sometime if you will............

thanks for the help and y'all take care..........

P.S.- hey Will!!!!!!!!!! when is my pair of deep blue colored easterns from last season going to mate man????????? can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

reptariums are inexpensive and work really well. I'm not sure when the lizards will mate but hopefully soon. Were they brumated?

hey will.......how are ya my man?
just got back from central florida for a nice 12 day jaunt.......
thanks for the response guy.......reptitarium? are those the black screened cages people use for chams and geckos?
i don't believe they have any glass in them....just a black mesh.......

well my female hasn't shown any colors yet, but keeping the hopes up that something will happen soon. i didn't put them down totally, but backed off of everything for several months and many females have shown colors the past month.

i am getting concerned about my male's health. i haven't had a problem yet with any of my clan and he is looking unusually thin. his pelvis is starting to show a bit and that scares me. all of my collareds were fed well every third day while i was gone, but obviously i can't assume they all ate. well i am back now.......feeding........watering them individually.......

i checked for mites, but the other 5 collareds are doing tremendous. i don't believe that is the case and he breaths fine with no discharges.......

he is an animal and you know for certain there are times when things do happen and they aren't always pleasant.......BUT NOT MY FAV BOY!!!!!!!!!!

anyone out there have ideas please let me know if you will.......thanks

Will.....appreciate it again friend.......
