My Chiquita, female Merauke Blue Tongue Skink, of course not as big as Tegan, your tegu. but shes going towards 2 feet and still has a ways to go. A real Charmer, very sweet girl. LOVES bananas, hence thats where she got her name. Just thought you may like to see one of my Other reptile children. Eve

I love Blue Tounges! I have had to resist buying one several times Yours has very interesting colors! I am sure someday there will be a BT in my collection. Thanks for the pic!

You know they are the smartest lizards (if not reptiles) alive, they, along with their North American buddies, the whiptails, have the highest brain/body mass rasio.

Tegus and whiptails are pretty dang cool also. Although you don't see many for sale. They are interesting, the fact that some are all female and do not need a mate to reproduce, Eve

(And haha about the weird skrewedup reproduction thing! They will soon go extinct! Thats what happened to the dinos! They were all female! (They didn't know how to catch lizards)
