I have no idea where to begin my search or my research. What type of incubator does everyone use and where do you get it?
Thank you

some people use hovabators--- available at atwoods,or a farm/ranch store-- or online sometimes at lowes/home depot... (depends on where you live)
Also, a lot of people make thier own-- there was a design for an icechest incubator--- it was pretty cool... holds 4 clutches.
you can use a fridge as well--- easy to find one thats not working--- clean it out real good-- take the coils and crap off to make it lighter-- use the shelves already there-- or add different ones-- for more room. put some flexwatt on the back--a bout 4 foot is what i'm seeing-- insert temp probe and hook up to a tstat-- ta-da cheap incubator... should hold about 15-20 clutches...
The plans for the pvc one below are really cool-- but acorrding to the OP runs about 1200 ---- We went price checking today-- and i think i've found a "poor persons" way of making a similar item-- wont be nearly as fancy looking-- but should work just the same... i think it'll hold 30-40 clutches when i'm done...
I've been compiling plans and ideas for a while now, you can message me if you'd like to chat about some idea's i've had...
many others will have ideas as well...

Here is the style I have been building. It is basically framed up with 1” x 2” pine then has 3/4 inch foam sandwiched between 1/8 inch shower board. I use a Herpstat thermostat a heating coil from either Lyonelectric.com or Randallburkey.com with a couple computer fans. The basic design is real easy the trim and making everything look nice takes some time but isn’t necessary for functionality. For pre-made incubators Nature Spirits makes a nice unit.
