Timber Rattler Combat

bwsmith Jun 04, 2008 09:08 AM

Male combat in Timbers. They were being packed up to go to a display. The female ovulated within a week (as did most of the other female horridus at the display). This was taken several years ago on a digital camera. Finally got someone to clean it up and combine the videos. Sorry for the poor quality.

It takes newly uploaded videos a while to get distributed around to different servers. There is usually a window where some people can see it and some get "not found" because they are directed to different servers.

One of the most exciting herp experiences I've ever had. My wife and I had just walked out the door with our Shiba Inu for our after dinner walk. There on the sidewalk right across the street from our house these two males were in combat. This went on for better than 10 minutes and then they went their separate ways. No female in sight.
