Ways to get room cooler??

dacherrypicker Jun 04, 2008 03:02 PM

I just moved to Charlotte fomr Ohio. The weather is quite different down here obviously. I cant get room room to cool down. I mostly have Balls and a few Leopard Geckos. The ambient in the room itself is about 82-83. But obviously in their tubs the ambient is a notch or two higher. About 87. Anynone got any good ideas to get the room a little cooler so the ambient in the tubs doesn't get as hot. They dont have much of a heat gradient when the cool spot is 85-87 and the hot spot is about 92. Thanks in advance and happy herping!

Snakes in Africa can retreat below ground where its MUCH cooler. I get seriously uncomfortable if my room temps get much above the mid 80s...
