This girl is getting big and it makes it easier to see the orange on her. She may breed later this year, so maybe we will see if this is a genetic trait.

Do you have a related male to breed her with?

That's like a reverse calico...I like that morph a lot!

Keep the posts coming Joe...we love to see your collection!

Very nice looking Snows in your other post!

Very interesting indeed... That's potentially insanely cool... any thoughts as to what's happening there? Oh yeah and nice anerythristic as well -- really helps to showcase the orange. Yep... look forward to more pics of her!

Yeah Joe,....that's quite a unique looking anomaly you have there!......wouldn't that be cool to be able to produce more anery's with a heavy orange frost one day?

Good luck with all the others as well!

We have the parents and a sibling from this project and they all have some orange on them, so we may know this year or next if this is genetic or not.

Thanks!!!

So it's 100% ghost? No tangerine hondo in its bloodline at all?

exposito Jun 06, 2008 07:21 AM

She is an Anerythristic, but all Hondurans are either Tangerine or Tricolor to start with. These are the natural colors that you would find them to have in the wild. She is Anerythristic, so her red or orange pigment is missing, but not completely and that is what makes her different.
