Sorry! I saw the title and looked at the picture and figured he posted the wrong pictute. I must be a little dim for not expecting that someone would start a post about Bairds on the Rat Snake forum and end the post with a picture of his Eastern Hognose snake (and a nice looking Eastern if you ask me). Oh well, what do I know? LOL

Hey, you know you could have helped him out by posting a photo of one of yours! I remember you posting some Bairdi skin close up photos a few years ago. They were great. Because of your photos, I have two Bairds myself.

Thanks for correcting my mistake, but I am still holding out for both you and MurphysLaw posting Bairds photos.

I hope yours do better this season.
As you remember mine didn't even breed last season.
This season one laid 7 eggs and the other 10.
All the eggs look good and will hopefully all hatch.
I also got decent results with my emoryis. Their first breedings, one gave me 4 BIG eggs and the other gave me 7 good sized eggs.
The emoryis aren't any larger then the corns but the eggs sure are bigger and the bairdi eggs...whew.. they even make the emoryi eggs look small.
Sorry to ramble
keep us posted and good luck!!!!
That hog looks good.
That's pretty darn cool that it ate a mouse on the first try.

I always thought that would make for a good photo. A corn, emoryi, and bairds egg laid out side by side for a size comparison. And then what the heck, throw in a Black Pine egg & see what big really is. Steve

Thanks for the compliment on my garter. She is an 07 T.sirtalis similis (blue striped garter) I'll be picking up a male this year & hope to produce some in the not so distant future. Good luck with your N. Pines.
Steve
