Het 4 Pied markers

XnatX Jun 04, 2008 04:54 PM

Hey all,
I've posted this question before, and there are other postings, so I apologize for sounding redundant...but I'm still confused.
What am I looking for...what are these markings? Someone directed me to a pic of their het4pied's tail, but I still don't know what I'm looking for. I supposedly have a 100% het, but not sure what the markings look like. Any pics and help would be appreciated! Thanks, and cheers!
Nat

.........notice the black lines running up and the clear belly at the base of the tail?

Granted if yours is a POSS HET then it may mean something. If not then whocares. The hets have reg bellys too

Ok, thanks for the pic and quick response. I guess it might be better if I were able to get a pic of my guy's belly and posted it....but I know I'd really have to prove it out to find out for sure. I'll breed him in the future, but he's my first ball (and first snake at that) and right now just a pet.
I'm already hooked, though!

Best of luck man......you wouldnt be the first to prove out a wild caught het pied. It can happen

Er....he's not WC. CB, but I was just looking for a pet at the time and didn't get him from the actual breeder....just someone selling him who claims he's a het pied. He was such a nice looking, super docile snake that I decided to believe the dude.
If he isn't, oh well. It would be NICE....but he's an awesome snake anyway. I've done enough research now that i won't be buying on good faith again if I want to start breeding some morphs in the future. Thanks again

Good faith is all you have to go on. With hets, you have to take the word of the breeder. You can get a picture on paperwork, but you still are left with trusting the breeder.
