Wrong again...

boaphile Jun 04, 2008 05:03 PM

I can't take too much more of this. I'm down there checking my girls every few minutes it seems like. I have this one Pastel Hypo het Pastel Albino female that was bred by my best Pastel Albino male. She already has a nest made. She is just always on the move thinking about having those puppies. I am stressing out here... Anyhow, I have this one female that is a non-hypo Monster Tail female that had a tiny ovulation four months ago. She never swelled up very large at all. In fact I have been predicting slugs for over a month from her. Truth be told, I have not even been looking at her most times i go down there becuase who wants to see those slugs right? I hate slugs. By the way, this has NEVER happened to me in the past ten years or so. I have never predicted a slugger that has proven me wrong that I can remember for at least ten years. So on my way by I glance over and there she is, pushing around a slug. So my eyes scan across the cage looking for the rest of the 25 or so slugs I expected. Holy Moly Rocky! There are babies in that cage! I just can't believe this thing gave me babies! I am amazed and delighted with them! 13 little tiny babies and ten slugs. I'll take it! I mean, I'll take them! Eight Hypos and five non-hypos and some real lookers in the litter, much like their Daddy. Here they are!

So I guess... I'm wrong again! Sometimes being wrong isn't such a bad thing...

Jeff:

I grew up with a guy that used to say "I thought I was wrong once, but it was a mistake".

Your experience fits his saying to a T.

I guess it pays to be wrong sometimes.

There seem to be some real nice hypos in that litter.

Good luck with them.

Sounds just like my Dad he always said that.
"I've only been wrong once in my life. That's when I thought I was wrong ,but I was right"
LOL,always makes me chuckle when I hear that.
