Not as a daily staple. When looking at the fact that green comprise most of the iguanas daily diet, this green comes in merely as crunchy water. Yes it is better nurtitionally than ice berg, but overall compared with greens like mustard, collard, dandelion, it is dwarfed. Also the real greens are often cheap in the grocery stores than the high end lettuces.

The good, heartier greens like collard are cheaper in my store and they last longer, too. Maybe it's the high water content of Romaine, but it wilts faster, too. If properly cared for in the fridge, collard, mustard, kale, etc lasts quite a while.
