cages update new ON topic member!!

saagbay Jun 04, 2008 07:23 PM

okay so i have been checking in every now and then but havent posted in a while. i have been working on my cages last weekend and for the last few nights, and i am now about 96% DONE.

since my last, i have done all the wiring, installed heating, got door panels, made and attached tracking, sealed unfinished edges, and caulked all seams... much thanks for help from wifey!!!!

they are currently moved into the house and all set up and plugged in, and not to tute my own horn but man they look nice!! i have not move tenants in just yet, as i am still working out good heat settings.

now for those of you expecting a DUW, i am terrible sorry to disappoint you all but our digital camera decided it doesnt want to take pictures anymore. but dont everyone get too upset just yet i did take pictures, it is now just a matter of finishing the roll of film and getting it developed.... speaking of does anyone know where i can get a new digital camera for cheap, like cheap cheap, im mostly broke at the moment. i dont need the top of the line, just something the will take a decent picture...

anyways i will have everybody all moved in tomorrow night or friday!!

and in other news i have officially joined the BRB club, my new baby girl "Saphira" (formally known as BO-TO-06) was shipped to us today from our own dave colling!!! thanks dave she is doing great!

dave was sneaky enough to be emailing my wifey back and forth and the two of them conspired to get Saphira paid off and shipped without my knowing!! but again due to camera failure it will be a bit before i can get pictures, but hopefully not too long

Wow, that's a coincidence! You know, I didn't even read your whole post, and your title didn't even click since my brain was on overload. Congratulations, exciting stuff. Borrow a friends camera if you have to, but get some pics!!

Thanks,
Ed

Chatting with wifey and conspiring against you. I had to be careful as you were emailing with me at the same time.

Found out your wifey, the one dissin on our (my) snake porn, just so happens to share not only first name, not only middle name but spelling and uncommon pronounciation as well with my wifey. She's the ONLY other Desiree with a long e, not ray pronunciation I or my wife have ever met / heard of.

We'll all be waiting for pics of the new cages and your snakes!!

How sweet for your wife to get you a BRB behind your back (with Dave's help)! Congratulations! You can't beat a spouse who knows your interests and wants to fulfill them.

yeah she is great! funny story about that is that our ball python is actually hers...

my cousin called me up one day and said petco is having a sale ol balls... $30 ea... so he wanted to know if he got one could i keep it (mother is afraid of snakes... oddly enough they have 3 now lol)

of course i said absolutely i most certainly would, then though about it for a and talked to wifey to see if she had any interest and she did so i call my cousin back and told him to get 2....

and the funny thing is the first time she met her new snake lol it was great she was so unsure and even nervous but trying so hard to hide it lol.... needless to say she is more that comfortable around most snakes now and she loves them.

its great to have a better half that understands supports and even shares in on your hobbies and passions!!!!
